Friday, 25 April 2025 – 6:00am
Arncliffe Aurora Football Club will proudly honour Australia’s fallen and serving military personnel with a dawn ANZAC Day commemoration on Friday, 25 April 2025, beginning at 6:00am at Arncliffe Park.
This special event reflects the club’s strong community values and commitment to preserving the legacy of the ANZACs — the brave men and women who served in the Australian and New Zealand armed forces during war, conflict, and peacekeeping efforts.

The dawn service will bring together players, coaching staff, volunteers, club officials, families, and members of the wider community in a shared moment of reflection. A traditional minute of silence, the laying of a wreath, and the reading of the Ode will be observed, providing a respectful and powerful tribute to those who have sacrificed so much for our freedom.
Arncliffe Aurora has commemorated ANZAC Day in previous years with similar dawn tributes, reinforcing the club’s position not just as a sporting organisation, but as a cornerstone of the local community that recognises the importance of history, respect, and connection.
The club encourages all members of the public to attend and be part of this meaningful observance.
Following the service, attendees are welcome to remain at the park for a casual morning tea and community gathering.
Lest we forget.
